Description

In order to gain a greater understanding of financial decisions taken by international business managers, we study the methods and tools used to manage international payments effectively, together with various financing alternatives. We explain the role and functioning of derivative products and the foreign exchange market, focusing on currency derivatives as a hedge. Finally, we analyse diverse international payment methods, multinational cash management techniques and transfer prices.

Learning Outcomes

Gain an understanding of foreign exchange market concepts, how currency risk affects companies and how they can be hedged by means of currency derivatives.
