Descripción
The development of cleaner products and services is becoming more and more a need and a catalyst for companies. In this course the necessary tools will be provided to determine the environmental impact associated with them, as well as ecodesign strategies to improve them. The course provides the necessary information to the student to know and be able to apply different tools for environmental evaluation of products (checklists, MET matrix, MIPS, LCA, etc.). It shows the student the applications of these types of tools, including the ecodesign of products and services. The course provides basic notions about the main ecodesign strategies and how to apply them to the design of new products and services. It provides the student with a critical spirit for the analysis of the products and services available in the market, as well as in the use of one of the LCA software tools more used in the World.

Doctora en Ciencias Ambientales (UAB)
Actualmente es la Directora Ejecutiva de la Cátedra UNESCO de Ciclo de Vida y Cambio Climático de ESCI-UPF y Directora del Master of Science in Sustainability Managment, ofrecido conjuntamente por la UPF-BSM y ESCI-UPF.
Imparte clases en el MSc in Sustainability Managment y en el Postgrado de Gestión de la Transición Sostenible i la Emergencia Climática ofrecido por ESCI-UPF.
Anteriormente trabajó como docente e investigadora en materia de EcoDiseño i Análisis Ambiental de Productos en la Escuela Superior de Diseño ELISAVA, en la Escuela Superior de Diseño Industrial (ESDI), y en el Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología Ambiental (ICTA) de la UAB. También ha trabajado como consultora ambiental.
Sus áreas de investigación son el Análisis de Ciclo de Vida (ACV), el EcoDiseño, la Compra Ambientalmente Correcta, y el desarrollo de metodologías para la realización e anállisi completos de sostenibilidad.
Es miembro de la Red Española de Análisis de Ciclo de Vida.
Fue finalista del Premio Europe Innova, edición 2008, otorgado por la Comisión Europea, DG Empresa e Industria, y ganadora del Premio Diseño para el Reciclaje en la categoría de proyectos otorgado por la Generalitat de Catalunya en 2000.
