We learn about the most relevant aspects of the principal means of international transport and familiarize ourselves with the documentation required to send goods abroad. With our eye on the goal of efficient, profitable trade, we reconcile the seemingly contradictory objectives of getting products to customers quickly (key for customer satisfaction) and at low cost (essential for a company’s economic results).

Biography:

José Miguel Aliaga has held decision-making positions in a number of international companies, working in the areas of purchasing, global operations, logistics and customs management. As an international consultant, he has focused his expertise on the aeronautics, textile, food and logistics industries. As an academic lecturer and researcher, his fields of interest include companies’ export/import behaviour and the economic impacts of special economic zones (SEZ).
