Call for applications for the post of manager at ESCI-UPF

ESCI-UPF, Escola Superior de Comerç Internacional, affiliated to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra

ESCI-UPF is a public consortium governed by its Statutes, which set out the role and responsibilities of the Manager in Article 15.

All candidates should hold a university degree and have a firm command of Catalan, Spanish and English.

In addition to the responsibilities set out in the Statutes, candidates should also note the following points:

Highly valued criteria:

1. Previous management experience, preferably at a university centre or similar

2. Familiarity with ESCI-UPF and its values and culture

3. Knowledge, expertise and networking experience in the business world

4. Availability to take up the post at the earliest opportunity

Skills and competences required for the post:

• Proven competence in the various aspects of management (economic, asset, hiring, administrative, human resources and ICT management)

• Initiative-taking and decision-making skills

• Leadership skills and unifying character

• Communication and negotiation skills

• Analytical skills and strategic vision

Contract details:

• Senior-management employment contract (with trial period)

• Full-time commitment

• Starting annual gross salary of €65,000, plus 15% performance-related pay linked to set goals
