Biography
Daniel Franco is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems at the Engineering School of the UAB, where he was formerly dean, vice-dean and head of studies. He holds a BSc (1991), MSc (1993) and PhD (2000) in Computer Science from the UAB. His research activities have focused on the fields of parallel computing, computer architecture and computer simulation, among others, as part of a number of national and international competitive research projects.
