Biography

Oscar Elvira earned his PhD in Economic Sciences, specialising in Accounting and Auditing, from the UB in 2008. He has been an associate lecturer at UPF since 1997 and currently teaches finance classes at ESCI-UPF, UPF and BSM, where is codirector of the Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance BSM. Since 2002 he has worked at Gesiuris Asset Management, SGIIC, SA, managing various UCITS. He is also a board member at Gesiuris Urc Patrimonis SICAV and the author of several books on finance published by Profit in Barcelona.
