Biography:

Shushanta Acharjee is currently a lecturer at ESCI-UPF, where he also serves as the Area Coordinator for Entrepreneurship. His academic journey spans several prestigious institutions; he is engaged as a professor associat in the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra focusing on Management, organization and Entrepreneurship.

Shushanta has led an illustrious academic career, prominently marked by his research on social capital and entrepreneurship. His current research delves into the roles of entrepreneurial culture and dynamic capabilities in enhancing social enterprise performance, reflecting his broader interest in the intersection of social entrepreneurship and competitiveness policies within both Spain and the broader EU context.

His expertise is regularly sought by prestigious academic forums, and he has contributed to scholarly publications on topics ranging from internet capabilities and innovation in the Balkan countries to the socio-economic impacts of policies in China.

Shushanta’s academic contributions have been recognized with multiple awards and grant. Despite concluding his collaborations with ESIC and the EU, he continues to influence the field through his extensive research and teaching commitments.
