Biography
Dr. Sandra Sinem Kaya is a professor and the academic coordinator of the Talent area at ESCI-UPF. Specializing in consumer and organizational behavior, her research delves into decision-making and perception, particularly within gastronomic settings. She explores culinary institutions as organizations, conducting both lab and field experiments with leading restaurants worldwide. Her investigations expand to emotions, specifically the emerging concept of 'emodiversity' and its impact on consumer experiences. Additionally, Dr. Kaya is interested in plants and food ecosystems, investigating them through the lens of organizational networks.
